@PunkIAm You literally said that there's no such thing as a bad trip.

@trvpgame7710 I suppose you can technically get from Amsterdam to New Zealand by swimming, but if you suggest that one should do that it kind reflects that you're not very familiar with swimming and distances. Not to use psychedelics and other drugs is a completely unnecessary handicap.

@Killabitchtaylorsversion You haven't learned anything if that's your response.

@Whydoroseshavethorns Imo "ego death" doesn't exist. People are talking about very different experiences. Some with an erasure of personal memories, some are particularly examining personal memories. Some include an experience of rigpa, some don't. Some are positive, others negative.

@merikslingerland1293 Yeah, that's the kind of thing that makes me believe that people are talking about very different things when they say "ego death". In the Advaita Vedanta experience of non-duality, there can be full recognition of that experience - same for the Dzogchen view.

Complete horseshit. I never said that lsd is evil. Also why would I have taken it if I thought that? You're not making any sort of sense. You're also completely overstating the typical effect of psychedelics.

@mrch33sehed93 Shrooms and LSD give the feeling of insight or epiphany even if none is there. People should be careful about that.

I found everything very straightforward to explain. Of course I'm only explaining the most distinct and interesting parts.

@ChristianLeFer So far mushrooms and lsd seem interchangeable. I don't think people really have to do both.

Not at all true for anything I experienced. At least all of the interesting effects are very straightforward to explain. What I found most interesting so far is relaxations and confusions about the feeling of self. Sometimes it wasn't clear whether I had done something or one of my friends. And once I met a person and briefly thought I was them.
