  2.  @bludc  Acknowledge? Yes. Accept? No. You should never accept a culture just because it happens to exist, you should critique it and change it. No part of European culture is to be defended on grounds of it being tradition, they are defended on grounds of being right. Democracy, liberalism, etc are to be defended, because they create happiness. When you come into a foreign country and they do something badly, you should be honest about that and try and help them improve.

You don't have to act out some role. I don't act aggressively or brave or whatever, because being a man demands it, I do so, because it's FUN. And it's probably more fun to me than to most women.
