  1. A lot of people really, really hate those appetite regulating drugs. They have built their ideology around the battle against bodyfat. They want it to be what makes them excellent, disciplined individuals or they want it to be their bludgeon against capitalism. Their identity revolves around not being fat or battling fat and ozempic and Co are an existential threat.

  2. Good point, I think it's plausible that after appetite reducing meds, obesity becomes an extreme body modification ppl choose for aesthetics, like a split tongue.
