  1. "It can happen to anybody". Lol, no. Those girls clearly couldn't swim with or without waves. And if you're a competent swimmer you can swim over waves for hours and hours.

  2.  @daniellethaxton6800  Yes and then you just continue swimming. Being a "strong swimmer" entails being ok with being underwater unexpectedly. And in a wave pool it's not even unexpected. The cases in the video were all toddlers, who can't swim even in a normal pool.
