@n8pls543 That's totally wrong. It's absolutely amazing how well even just chatbots can code. It surprised and astonished anyone in the know. That you have to actually check the output and can't use stuff 1to1 is obvious and doesn't mean it's not super impressive and helpful. When someone can throw a stone to the moon, do you simply go "meh", because he can't throw it to Jupiter?

@thedarter If you think people come to own multiple huge tech enterprises and be world famous out of pure coincidence with zero input of their own, you're delusional. You're actually crazy if you genuinely believe that.

@zogwort1522 And supported the Red Khmer, lol. Basically anything, as long as it's against the evil West.
2
@corail53 The government can freeze your assets in USD quite easily and your transactions are hard to keep private. Hence Monero.
2
They're doing more than you, that's for sure.
2
Freedom = evil.

@themischief420 Do you use google maps? Or do you pay someone to draw a route onto a map?
1
@tomsnowden6201 All products you use involve "ai" at some point.
1
@rahrex You don't know most cases.
1
Yep, although state worshipers cry about every crypto currency. The agents of nation states themselves understand that the real threat is privacy coins like monero.
1
The pros are independence from the caprice and tyranny of nation states.
1
@Oscar-vd4cv Those aren't decentralized at all. Decentralized means no individual party controls it. That also means no one can take your money away or keep you from paying or receiving funds. With privacy features on top of that, no third party knows who paid whom how much.
1
A problem that's solved by crypto.
1
@solarydays There's lots of emerald mines. And you don't know their owners.
1
@krtolas Which is perfectly fine as well. And which is also why states and their worshipers are so vehemently against crypto.
1
Crypto has already been used for decades. 2007 btc paper, 2010 Silk Road.
1
No. There not being a central point of control is the entire point.
1
Cryptos have been used for decades.
1
ryanpatrick4920 There's alternatives to the btc base chain. Besides monero transactions are only like 6ct at the moment.
1
The entire point of crypto is independence from nation states.
1
It is used as a currency and always has been. That's why governments are fighting it. The IRS is openly looking for a way to break Monero.
1
You can't build rails going to and from everywhere. Do you really think people use trucks for no reason whatsoever?
1
Yes, you are mad, BECAUSE it works. Because it effectively limits the power of the state. You think there should be no public space that isn't 100% controlled by the state and crypto currencies, in particular ones with privacy features, undermine that totalitarian project.
1
@walden6272 Last month my cousin had no husband. Now she has one. By the end of the year, she will have three husbands.
1
@ComradeOgilvy1984 Making a new currency has nothing to do with making more money in an existing one.
1
@purplefood1 You don't know shit. Crypto has been used actively since it's invention and the state is fighting it precisely because it works.
1
What exactly is the advantage of a gift card? They're not fungible for a start, they're not all the same.
1
It's not a solution to inflation, it's a solution to totalitarianism.
