@rubinortiz2311 I'm absolutely an asshole, who would become a pirate. But that doesn't make them any better. They are brutal thieves, who endangered lots of innocents and deprived them of their belongings at the very best.

You think literally every single Somali is a pirate? There's millions upon millions worse of than those pirates and they've never stole a thing, let alone abducted people. Besides, if things are "desperate", you shouldn't start a family in the first place.

@catoflado4977 That lots of births is bad is not Malthusian necessarily. What matters is the ratio of production to consumption. More young adults are good, but more small children bad. The better your technology and development, the more infants and elderly you can afford.
