Of course there is a feedback cycle. That's one of the complications with psychological problems. That you get into a role. Like me procrastinating at the moment. I'm wasting time, but I'm also wasting more time since I put myself into the role of a time-waster. There is a real information hazard to diagnosis. But there is also a blessing to it, because diagnosis also helps you work against the undesriable psychological circumstance.

What if you're making it up that you're making it up? Maybe there's like three or four layers to your psychosis.

Psychological disorders are really not that clear cut and they have all sorts of feedback mechanisms. Acting out a disease, thinking you have a disease and having the disease are all pretty closely related. It won't break your arm if you think you have a broken arm, but if you think you are bipolar, your brain can easily pick up on that and actually produce that pattern. So we should be aware of a sort of information hazard that's unavoidable in diagnosis.

How much do I have to drink for lilputian hallucinations? I can't remember having any sort of hallucinations on alcohol.

@lisahope6876 You should be able to figure out whether you're sad or not.

@Saturnium_ That doesn't even mean anything. Making something up is conscious. "Unconsciously" your entire reality is constructed by your brains. It's all "made up unconsciously" the desirable and undesirable parts.

Bullshit. Schizophrenics, like everyone else, can definitely identify hallucinations as such.
