>The idea of a God, by it's very nature, is supernatural. No, it isn't. And I don't see how an idea can be supernatural. Nor is claiming something to be "supernatural" anything but a cop-out not to give evidence or reasoning. > Well, that's because the universe is not supernatural. Why?

Precisely. Just because questioning the existance of anything doesn't make sense, does not mean that questioning anything in particular stops. All of the questioning, curiosity, critical thinking and so on continuous when it comes to any particular topic.

That the existence of something is a "brute fact" doesn't mean you can't stay curious and thoughtful and critical and so on forever. While questioning the existence of anything at all does not make sense, questioning specific laws and observations always makes sense.

Some questions that seem reasonable and obvious at first inspection turn out not to mean anything upon analysis. Like the question whether the smallest set larger than the integers has the same cardinality as the reals. Sounds like an obvious and proper question, but turns out to be unanswerable.

@ansalem12 My own perspective doesn't just exist in what you imagine as the presence but also in the past. There is a duration of time during which consciousness associated with my body exists. Just like the existence of a space outside my house doesn't erase the existence of the space inside the house, the existence of future time does not erase the past.

It could be finite in one direction and infinite in another.

No. It's quite clear now that the question simply doesn't make sense. You gain nothing from "struggling" with a nonsense question.
