That's totally wrong. There's more excellent channels just on Astronomy and Astrophysics and Space Travel than I can possibly keep up with. Some off the top of my head: Curious Droid, Isaac Arthur, PBS Space Time, Event Horizon, It's Just Astronomical, Launchpad Astronomy, Fraser Cain, Paul Sutter, ...

Imo the only kind of SETI we should be doing is to look for Dyson Spheres in far away galaxies. I think I agree mostly with the argument in the video, but I would call the "birth to death ratio" the rate of the birth and expansion of civilizations. I don't see why civilizations should come to an end once they arrive, let alone to a significant degree. And once you have a civilization, it should expand much faster than others arrise. The galaxy is only 100k light years across, so a single civilization should settle it all in only ~10million years, even if they never travel faster than 1/100 the speed of light. Nvm he talks about that himself at 17:00. I should stop writing comments before the end of the video.
