What are you? An enemy of democracy? No one should ever have to go to Kansas.

Yeah what could be more literal? A model plane stuck in a tower? Burning people?

@SlurMaster9000 It's an inconvenience when not every single centimeter of a city is built up?
4
The city doesn't belong to you just because you own a bed there, Aussie.
4
Or we could just eat all of the homeless people.
4
You shouldn't drive around for fun in the first place. You can't "public transport" to everyone's house.
3
Nonsense. There is no country in the world with a culture of continuous learning about driving.
3
Yeah, I'm just gonna walk 50km, take a bedframe and some cupboards on my back and then walk 50km back. Brilliant plan.
3
Having some parking space at semi affordable prices can be a huge advantage for a city. The lack and expense of parking has often dissuaded me, my friends and my family from going to the city. I really mostly go to get wasted. And if I wasn't young and fit I wouldn't take trains and busses at all. Those are horrible if you're old or otherwise disabled.
3
@tomsterbg8130Yep, the USA should opt for more freedom and less regulation, not the opposite.
3
You're probably worse. This kind of arrogance shows a lack of self awareness. Even 0.5 seconds of unawareness could lead to a crash. You think you're perfect, because you don't self reflect.
2
@GabelbuschThe opposite is the case. We easily automated flying, but we can't really automate driving. Driving is harder and people do it better than machines, in spite of the latter never being distracted and having perfect reaction times.
2
Tbh the old towers looked pretty bland. From an aesthetic point of view, we should thank Al Quaeda.
2
@Twangaming In Germany there's no special laws for SUVs at all. They're just the same as any other car.
2
@phobos2077_ If you still want it free, you are not desperate enough.
2
It's funny that you complain about the Youtube algorithm NOT putting you into an opinion bubble.
1
@Pfooh That's not fine, lol. That's catastrophic. Also we can't shrink the USA to the size of the Netherlands.
1
@ThePapaja1996 No. Sweden and Netherlands are comparatively tiny countries with completely different layouts and demands.
1
You're taking the morons in the comments way too seriously. They react emotionally in the moment without thinking and they're monstrously arrogant about their own skill and safety.
1
Extremely few people die in crashes. To the degree that we can't automate driving, because people are so incredibly safe. Even if a machine only makes an error in object detection 1/10000 times, it's still less safe than a human driver, in spite of having perfect reaction speed and never being distracted. You're not just wrong, you're maximally wrong.
1
@SomeGuyWhoPlaysGames333 The only hard parts about flying is starting and landing. Driving is much harder and people do it extremely well.
1
@jamespatrick6939 What if you can't read though?
1
Cities should do neither. When lots of people park, parking becomes more expensive and more parking lots are built. When lots of people go by train, train tickets become more expensive and more trains go. The problem with transport is that socialist policies decouple consumer choice from decisions about what to invest in. City officials simply guess or decide ideologically what people do or should be doing.
1
@Snowshowslow I don't even comprehend how it's like to be such an authoritarian asshole. Force the plebs to use bicycles, no matter what their actual situation is...
1
Based on what data? Why do you think scamming everyone out of 1000€ makes people safer? I've seen people fail tests. It's usually unimportant BS, not their safety. Also I got my license without problems and I'm unsafe af.
1
Nope. In Germany everyone complains about other drivers just the same. It's an illusion. People don't see how they themselves are unsafe, they only see the errors of others.
1
How? By magic?
1
@hermishmer Not everyone lives in cities.
1
@hermishmer You're trying to gaslight people about OPs comment.
1
I'm in Munich and I really enjoy having tourists around. Makes me feel priviledged to see the sights of the city every day.
1
How so? What's sad about a museum?
1
The problem is not tourists, but poor tourists.
1
How about we just let people decide what they want to do rather than forcing our decisions upon them. If trains and busses are fuller, more trains and busses go. If streets and parking lots are fuller, more streets and parking lots are built. The problem is the socialism in infrastructure that decouples the building of streets and railways and trains etc from consumer choices. With modern technology we can easily charge people for the usage of specific streets and trains.
1
People in cars are still people.
1
@Giorno How much land is exclusively mine by virtue of planting my ass on the ground?
1
@Giorno Oh, so I'm allowed to go there since I'm from Bavaria?
1
>Istanbul And Ankara, too.
1
No one wants to be on the road.
1
Not everyone lives in cities.
1
@matthewboyd8689 You shouldn't make anything. I don't understand how you get this monstrous arrogance to think that you should decide what everyone else is doing.
1
@speedstyle. All the data posted here is garbage.
1
How about designing for efficiency? Everything is already designed for pedestrian and bike safety. Huge parts of cities are used just for bicycles while they can perfectly well use normal roads.
