What would a "factual" religion be? That's a contradiction in terms. Such a thing would be redundant (like a proofed mystery or a known secret). Also when he writes comments on youtube he is most probably at home already.

Either you have a scientific or a religious debate - you can't have both at once. If there was proof of god, there would be no need to believe. Also the monotheistic religions have long left their function of explaining natural events behind (such as mean snake in paradise led to legless snakes). Putting a direct intervention of god directly behind everything we can't explain will only strain the believe, not strengthen it. The universe is not infinite, we can even calculate it's mass. Maybe you really meant "space" though, which is of course infinite as it is just the "nothing" between stuff.

Viruses fail to fulfill all the requirements to fall in the category of "life" scientifically even though they reproduce in a way and use the same type of genetic information as bacteria. However this is just a question of definition.

...and there's a good chance that other phenomena will be explained as well. If you expect god to jump out just behind the next mystery you will just be disappointed. I rather a view of god as the ultimate reason, not to be found by scientific research, but only with your heart.
