  3. I think an afterlife is not the greatest delusion. It is maybe the greatest form of wishful thinking, but it has to be held up, maintained constantly. I don't think being in favor of assuming there's an afterlife is a big delusion either. Much more powerful and self sustained is the impression of the authership of ones choices. The feeling that you could have chosen otherwise. It's pretty overwhelming, while altogether nonsensical.
