Muslim scripture is full of the most astonishing devotion towards Mohammed. The description of his looks, his smell, etc XD Also there is probably enough hair from the prophets beard in museums around the world for multiple Mohammeds. But you are right - Muslims make a huge deal about monotheism. "set a lot of slaves free" A lot? A lot? Are your standards for what is a role model that low? Mohammed took slaves himself.
