If it was the case that men somehow restrain themselves when it comes to showing emotions - which I doubt - then it is for the sole purpose of being more attractive to women, not to conform to "society". No one gives a fuck about "society". It just so happens to be the case that women prefer men, who are less neurotic than themselves. I'm not holding back and when I seem cold, it's just because over millions of years my ancestors were preferred over those men, who were more neurotic.

Seems to me that he's more of a medium sized wolf or a small black bear at best. He is probably a delusional snow leopard, who's disappointed that his son isn't a Siberian tiger.
