  24. In case you are not acting dumb: Abandoning your allies due to lack of support of a war effort in the population isn't the same as military defeat. The USA was winning constantly and the North would eventually have to give up. It's just that the American public didn't care enough about Vietnam to continue and the North was highly motivated by nationalism and racism.

The USA didn't profit from racism, because they were fighting with and against South East Asians. The Vietkong and the North made full use of nationalism by framing the war as a foreign invasion. And you seem to fall for it to this day.

  39. You are ignorant, ideologically possessed or both. The USA wiped the floor with both North Vietnam and Iraq. They abandoned Vietnam not for any strategic reason, but because the American public didn't care about continuing the fight. And they utterly humiliated the gigantic Iraqi military in both Golf wars. I think they made the quickest progress any army ever made.
