  2. As a German I'm upset that the original Disney movie didn't show them torturing the Queen to death. That's an insult to my culture, in which defeated enemies are tortured as a matter of tradition.

  6. My problem is not so much with Rey being strong, but rather with her enemies being a bunch of clowns. Hoth is nothing but comedic relief anymore, Phasma - if she survived - has been humiliated multiple times. Kylo Ren has already lost to Rey twice and Snoke has gotten himself killed by the very person, he continuously expressed distrust of.

  8. It's about the opposite of loyalty. The huntsman betrays the Queen, because Snow White is even more beautiful than the queen. The fairytale is about beauty being more important than all other sources of power combined.

  17. You can do everything you can do in animation with CGI and more. That they're lazy about it and don't give artists enough time is not the fault of CGI.Look at the Lord of the Rings movies. The CGI still looks amazing.

  20. Snowwhite and the Huntsman is about the Girlboss Queen being totally impotent in comparison to Snowwhite despite her political and magical powers, simply because Snowwhite is pretty and likable. It's a fairytale telling us that beauty is more important than anything else.
