  5. Malik Parks I'm talking about the whole group of Mosasaurs, whose largest member is Mosasaurus hoffmannii, as far as I know. Megalodon is estimated to be around 18 meters long and so is Mosasaurus hoffmannii. I did a quick google research and I still seem to be up date date there. Do you have any new findings or estimates?

  19. Frodo had a happy childhood in the Shire with Bilbo and his young Hobbit friends while Harry was abused by his aunts family. Being a fan of all of Tolkien's works I have to say that Harry all in all was worse off than Frodo.

  28. GeordieBen9 It would have been much better as a weapon of fear, rather than a bunch of glowing super soldiers, who effortlessly clean up Pelennor fields. They make the efforts of Gondor and Rohan pretty pointless. Well I guess Peter had to end the Battle somehow and there was no money left for costume designers for Lossarnach and Lebennin men.

You might want to look into puppet theatre - usually aimed at kids, but if you think a puppet does a better job than Andy Serkis, it might be something for you.

I'll tell you my opinion: Make up, puppets and CGI have all their place, it's up to the director to use whatever is necessary. However well done CGI is by far superior to anything you can do with animatronics or stop motion. We can hardly beat natural movements and we most certainly can not with puppets or robots.
