  1. Well he has no spirit in the movies. He's pretty much a cold action hero, that shows up for killing things. If it was about skill /strength, Legolas, Hawkeye and Arrow would surpass anyone else in this list by far.

  2. Legolas would beat both of them pretty effortlessly. The Characters of Robin Hood an Katniss seem equally exaggerated in their archery skill. However this is not about skill - and it would really suck this way. Everyone can make up overly powerful characters. Like Peter: Peter always hits everything he wants and shoots ten arrows each second. See? I just made a more powerful character than all of the others on the list combined.

You seem to me like the kind of internet troll, who hates on stuff, just because it's somewhat popular at the moment.

As if you knew that Tolkien would have wanted some company to rate a character based of his novel higher on some list of bowmen! Maybe Tolkien would have ranked Hawkeye first and Legolas far behind Katnis - who know? This is just a bogus abuse of Tolkien's name and a ridiculous amplification of the "one franchise against another" argument.

  7. Well Robin Hood is probably the archetype of an archer in popular culture. I knew Hawkeye and Katnis, although I never read a comic or novel of their respective franchises, but I've never heard of this "Arrow" before.

  16. When I think about archers in pop culture, I think about Robin Hood. Then there comes all long time nothing and then Hawkeye / Legolas. It might just be that I never spent much time on their franchises, but Katnis and Rambo are not saved under "archers" in my brain.

  18. Alien is your example for a better franchise /female lead? Everything gets obnoxious after the first movie, Ripley included. I haven't read the Hunger Games books, but the movies on their own are pretty enjoyable and it's easy to get emotionally invested.
