19 yos turn into 25 yos, so it's kind of hard to imagine in what scenario the latter would be better. You're literally getting 6 years more if you stay together. I think the optimum is 17. They're not gonna change radically in character and they'll look pretty much the same for the next 20 years.

@ogunmontgomery103 In case you are not aware of this: You are moving the goalpost. You pretending that Tate "meant" things, he never said. Depression is "clinical depression". Tate said that there is no such thing and you should exclusively worry about outer circumstances. You apparently don't agree with this, so you just substitute what you would like to hear.

@Sapphire stone What are "bad words"? Either you agree with something or not. I don't agree on anything with Tate, but the supposed ill consequences of people disagreeing with me are no argument. Of course believing things that are wrong is bad. But you first have to establish whether something is wrong.

That is the opposite of what Tate said. He said that depression results from being in a bad situation. Your mistake is that you think just because someone works a lot or has a lot of money, they're necessarily in a worse situation than others. While I disagree with Tate that outer circumstances are the only thing that matters, your circumstances are probably worse than your fathers. You probably have more competition from other males and fewer intimate friendships.

Imo people look the same from 16 to 35. The advantage of 18 yos is that they turn into 25 yos and not vice versa. You have her for 7 more years if you stay together. You also have her earlier in her life, giving you more opportunity for a positive impact.

@HassanPoyo What a phenomenally idiotic comment. You might as well say "it's so sad seing people on steroids not working out". Pure nonsense. Steroids help you to work out and get more from it. Anti-depressants help you to work on problems. That you think steroids and exercise somehow exclude each other is baffling.
