  1. This applies to humans only though. It is extremely dishonest to pretend that early Christians thought of other beings. Buddhism can pride itself on that, but not the Abrahamic religions.

  2.  @ReligionForBreakfast  That would be the worst case scenario, but given the apparent lack of civilizations in the universe, I'd say that we likely will never meet anyone, let alone soon enough that there will still be religions around.

  3.  @jackred2362  But faith based religions are quite new and even their adherents like to think that they have good reasons. So it might be that this is a fluke and faith based religion will be replaced with honest misconceptions in the future.

  4. Not really and it would be far more astonishing than that. Religion is about particulars. Moses did this, Jesus did that. For them to have the same religion, they'd have to be copies of us. The same planet going through the same history.
