  40. Yeah, the reporting is horrible. He wasn't suddenly stabbed there. They were already fighting over the knife inside. Since he got out, he basically won at that point, all he had to do was run. But for some reason he engages the dude with the knife.

  67.  @TranelHawkins  None of what you just listed is evidence of racism. Or rather: it would be better evidence of racism if there hadn't been a history of white supremacy and then segregation. As it stands those things alone might be sufficient to explain your discrepancies. Nor does there have to be an explanation to reject the notion that racism is it. That's a sort of lazy racism-of-the-gaps argument. As for the protests in the streets. People are stupid. That's why they think you are in danger in American schools or from American cops when really both school shootings and lethal shootings by policemen are very rare. And unjustified shootings are still only a subset of those. America is a gigantic country. "Can I find a video of it" is not a good heuristic for whether something is a societal problem, otherwise everything would be. Not saying that there is nothing to protest about, but those protesters, who think there is an acute problem with police violence or racist police violence in particular, either ignore or abuse statistics.
