My first guess is that dark eyelashes make the eyes appear bigger and that's a female characteristic / characteristic of youth.

And? Did Sumerians even lift?
71
@theanatomylab Seriously, I googled "embalmed cadaver hand" to find out, but I still don't know what this is about. I think a video on cadaver finger tips is in order.
64
Perfect? Seems like a mess of overly complicated processes with tons of sideeffects.
35
Weren't pretty much all strongman winners in their 30ies?
28
Your family must have used bicycles in a very odd way.
23
Traditionally that's definitely not what it is. Vipassana meditation is kind of the opposite: to be aware and present in any circumstance, not to be dissolved in an activity. If the diffuse loss of self was all there was, dogs would be enlightened.
20
Muscles can be more or less loose. So that's no argument for vaginas somehow being equally loose. It's actually an argument to the opposite, you can stretch it just like other muscles. : |
19
It's the number one food of all cells, which of course includes cancer cells.
18
I still think it's weird that they are making a video about endometriosis using a cadaver without knowing whether the cadaver has endometriosis.
13
Really? The butt is the strongest muscle. Mitochondria are the power stations of the cell. You've got a pretty face.
10
@janiejames9963 That's not how dying works. You die exactly once and that means you're gone forever. If you can "wake up", you're not dead.
9
Has anyone ever measured how much that is? Especially with a cold shower and if you dry yourself off, I'm sceptical of that using up a lot of energy. Also it might increase hunger more than it uses up fat. Maybe if you are constantly cold, e.g. don't wear jackets in winter, that would add up.

It depends on the situation. You're better off in the water if shrapnel poses a bigger danger than the pressure wave.
6
Wat.
5
There's a big problems with doctors being arrogant as fuck and careless. It's even worse than with car mechanics. Always remember that experts are there to give you advice, not orders.
5
In any way people are fat bcs their body signals more hunger / apetite. All other factors are secondary and indirect. A person with low hunger and apetite will undereat when stressed or out of time or out of discipline or whatever.

I disagree that you can get stronger without getting bigger. You can get a little bit stronger, you can get a little bit better at maxing out, you can get a little bit better endurance - but strength is mostly just muscle mass. To get substantially stronger is almost the same as getting substantially bigger muscles in the respective regions. Especially if you're not a competitor with weight limits, who has to max out or sth.
4
Yes, that's the point of the surgery. Making it harder to eat a lot.
4
@auntkami Yep: even real nutritional deprivation doesn't seem to lead to bad long term outcomes after you start eating normally again. To force a skinny person to eat more is really bad advice at this point. They should consider themselves blessed and only increase calories to gain muscles for old age.
4
Anything is bad if you look only at negative effects.
4
@jeromeriedl Why tf would you think that you have insight into that?!
4
You grotesquely melt away before you die. I don't think anyone should use a cute word for that.
4
They are huge. Wtf are you talking about. Gymnast upper bodies rival bodybuilders and often exceed those of other strength athletes.
3
Most people stop holding their breath at the first contraction. So I call bullshit.
3
The goal of meditation is not to reach an "inner quiet", it is to be aware of whatever is happening. That's also why saying that a hobby is "meditative" is so misleading. Being caught up in an activity is almost the opposite of mindful awareness. That you perceive a "strong inner dialogue" is a good thing. It means your awareness has already improved.
3
Lol, they wanted to keep their secrets or what?
3
OMG IT WORKED! When he talked about the muscles at 3:40 I tried to contract something in my stomach and my balls went up. That's fantastic! OMG THE OTHER THING WORKED, TOO! And what's more, only one ball went up for each leg!
3
Well since people literally use it to torture others I'd say it's plenty painful enough.
3
>I've popped out 4, two are buried in the garden as I had homebirths. That's horrible. Why did you contine with the homebirths after the first died?!
3
@mushenji >all retards are mutants No. In sexual reproduction it's not necessary for any mutation to occur for the offspring to be different from both parents. >we know that mutants are as a direct result of incest You didn't understand a single word, Emma wrote.
3
Ok, I drink alcohol, you drink formaldehyde, and we see who drops first.
2
It doesn't take any work, it grows by itself.
2
@ProfShibe No, it's not killing neurons and that wouldn't explain euphoria. In general no neurotoxic effects have ever been observed. Weak negative effects on memory have been observed in very heavy users.
2
@DKREALFEEL So if you get into a car crash, you're suddenly swole? No, that's not how hypertrophy works. And hypertrophy and strength training are 99% the same.
2
@RohitKumar-zm3nw That's not how dopamine works anyways.
2
@Anonymices343 Most drugs? So thousands of different chemicals?
2
@ciaraorourke9436 Maybe you can get your own villain lair when you're older.
2
What studies? I have never seen data indicating that low fat is unhealthy per se.

Although there's some notable endurance runners, who had success on low carb intake (basically running on ketones), in general there's a very strong correlation between carb intake and performance in endurance tasks. As far as lifting is concerned, afaik the newest research shows that the most important thing is that your stomach thinks it's got sth in it. So eating anything voluminous at all is important prior to lifting, but it doesn't have to be high in carbs. That was really good news for me, because I used to force chocolates and sweets into myself prior and during lifting and now I just eat whatever I feel like.
2
You can literally just supplement testosterone.
2
Your myth is less accurate than the first one. It might or might not tear in childhood.
2
The word "know" implies truth. So, no. You don't "know" that. Maybe you believe that. More likely you wish or pretend you believe that.
2
@Tahra555 No, praying is pretending to talk to someone, who isn't there. Meditation is the art of dropping pretense and seeing what's actually there in the moment.
2
I'd still rather be a woman. How many songs are there about love and family vs how many about period cramps?
2
I wonder how you get so ideologically obsessed that you call a fetus a parasite. The entirety of your anatomy only exists, because your egg cells can turn into another human. That's the only reason any of the other cells exist and do what they do.
2
Going to raves one would expect you to take mdma, speed, ketamin etc and not just coke.
2
@GlennsFastReviews >the brain reacts to the taste of sweetness and signals the pancreas to start producing insulin Yeah in mice. >This excess can lead to hypoglycemia. Even if it raised insulin a little bit that would be unlikely to lead to hypoglycemia.
2
It's mostly skill at a movement and neurological adaptations.
2
Disinhibition isn't really a bad thing. In fact I would say that at low doses it makes you more rational as irrational inhibitions fade away. Only when you drink a whole lot does the disinhibition become too much and you do unwise things. Drinking alcohol actually taught me to be less inhibited even when sober. It can show you that different behavior is possible.
