@Flamdring A lasagna contains pretty much all nutrients, you need. An apple contains only sugar. I don't see how the latter is "healthy" and the former not.

Yes, capitalism is responsible for people having too much food. That's never a problem under socialism.

How often you eat should depend on how much you eat and what your goals are, what you are doing. If you're some sort of monk meditating all day, you can get away with just one meal. If you have to perform at something, you should eat carbs before. If you want to get big, that's not possible with just two meals, you won't get down enough food.

@Tzara86 I have never seen anyone just eat pure sugar out of a bag. So this idiotic meme of "addiction to sugar" fails at the first hurdle. Sugar makes stuff taste better obviously, because it's the most important macro-nutrient. You need sugar to survive and if you don't eat sugar, your liver produces it. So if you want to be sugar-free, you should first remove your liver.

If you're exercising in your home it probably doesn't do anything for weight loss and if it does, it's extremely inefficient and unnecessary. Weight loss cardio should be easy and enjoyable. Running, swimming, cycling, etc. HIIT cardio is even more strenous than most strength training without producing half the results.

@merim5549 It's not just the USA, that's a thing in pretty much the entirety of the civilized world. I don't know what it's like in bumfuck-nowhere where you live.

I gained 6kg. Hoping to gain another four the coming year.

Skipping rope kills your gains.

Alan Doane Capitalism is bad, because under capitalism people have food.

If the "vascular system" being "under duress" is a risk factor, I would certainly be at risk. I almost fainted yesterday pushing myself with curls and overhead lifts.

>Eat correctly for your specific blood type. How do people come up with those superstitions?

I hate it when obese people tell me to stop stabbing them. Clearly they are not concerned about their health.

@dvidclapperton I eat carrots every day and peas and tomatoes quite frequently. I was still able to bulk up by 7kg during the pandemic.

Pretty much nothing compared to how much more tall people consume over short people. There should be subventions for manlets.
