The conflicts between tribes, the conflicts between religious confessions, the tyranny of dictators overshadow any Western military action or overrated chemical, nuclear scare weapons. I guess people are focusing so overmuch on the role of the USA, because they believed in their childhood that it is completely enlightened and the incarnation of progress and hope. Or it might be a form of ethnocentrism, in which African and Eastern nations are not considered potent.
