  1. So we should support Assad, because you don't give a fuck about the Syrian people? Is it that? Because that's basically what you are saying. Don't help the Syrian opposition, bow down to Russia, hand the world over to despots. Because that is more comfortable and a more popular position.

  2. Harmony Alexandria "After the US obliterated Iraq" You have a shallow understanding of history. The problem of the Iraqis are the insurgencies of former men of Hussein, who haunt the country. US soldiers have risked their lives for Iraqi citizens. They have risked their lives on missions to protect normal citizens from insurgencies. "Syria was a nice place...until the US coalition wrecked it." A nice place in which your child would be kidnapped and tortured by the government. "You hate Russia because if they control a part of the world, the US does not." The Russian officials are altogether corrupt. Their leader tries to distract from it by warmongering. Russia is a horrible place for members of any kind of minority, especially homosexuals. Further the opposition and the media are oppressed. How can you ignore all of this? How can you ignore that Russian airstrikes are committed without ANY regard for civilians. All Western countries take the greatest care to minimize collateral damage. Russia does not. They have thrown barrel bombs out of helicopters; and they OPENLY support the Syrian government, which torments and murders it's own people on a massive scale. My own country is flooded with refugees, many of which had to flee, because of the tyranny of Assad. You blame Western powers for accidentally supporting Islamist groups, while Russia OPENLY supports the Syrian government. Could you be any more hypocritical or insane?
