  1. Well taking Jesus by his word he does support cruelties. However that doesn't come through in the way he lived his life. His example can easily be seen as that of a blue eyed, peaceful hippie. That way moderate Christians can often come out ahead against conservatives. The same thing is sadly not true for Islam. Noone can twist Mohammed into being a hippie.
