  2. ara bezjian No, The devil is a concept of later religions. The Jews likely got it from Zoroastrianism, where the good force Ahura Mazda was in conflict with the bad force Ahriman. Christians later connected polytheistic deities with the angels, that followed Lucifer in his rebellion.

  3. EagleFan760 That would be weird since pagan gods usually fight nature. The Aesir fight the Jotun. The Olympians fight the Titans. Thor, Zeus, Vishnu, etc fight different beasts.

  4. Jessica Marsh That is a gross misrepresentation of mythology. When people were actually still affected by nature they didn't believe in that "balance" crap. There is monsters and old deities in multiple mythologies clearly representing the untamed nature and heroes and new gods as champions for humanity to defeat them.
