I'd probably have much better chances to gain power under socialism, but I still defend people's freedoms nonetheless, especially if those freedoms additionally raise billions out of poverty, while force and grand plans have led to the deaths of millions.

  21. If you had actually paid attention in history class, you'd know that it does. It doesn't "trickle down", rather people just profit from being able to trade. Look at Africa now vs in the 70ies. That enormous increase in prosperity and health all happened due to what you call "trickling down".

  23.  @kathinator4321  No. You are forced to work in communist societies. In some theoretical capitalist societies you might need to work for the same reason you have to work in a state of nature. Yet in practice all capitalist societies provide more than enough social aid to ensure food and housing to everyone.
