EDIT: Reviewed some of the 10k results and the best woman tends to be in 20th place compared to the men. The longest swim in total seems to have been by a woman - depending on what equipment you allow.

Also if it's all a planned deception, why is the bible full of contradictions and competing narratives? If I had to compile a holy book to control people, I'd be bit more clear about who's in charge. After Mohammed's death Islam split up. That makes it a rather poor attempt at controlling people.
