Better the greatest asteroid than the shittiest planet.

Damn. Clinton looks three hundred years old in this. I guess that is what the American right wing does to you.
34
Maybe the spirirts need guilible, intellectually dishonest morons.
11
So this was before they did Cosmos together?
10
Triston Charge Jewish world elite paying him to support the Chinese climate hoax. ; D
9
The pyramids aren't hollow. And they are also not protective structures. They only contain a single corridor inside for the most part.
7
Parents having another child and you being neglected are the same thing. You're losing out on resources. A chick rejecting you and a chick going with your mate are the same thing.
7
You are 100% wrong. Jealousy is probably the biggest motivator in cats. Cats have never been more mad at me than when I played with other cats. Stepped on their tail? Don't care. Sat on them by accident? Don't care. Got the food late? Don't care. But woe you if they catch you with another cat. My grandma was once bitten by a jealous cat and almost died through the infection.

There is always more awesome things about octopusses.

National Geographic gives in to fanboyism and japanophile woo. Everyone with even the slightest knowledge of swords will know why this is bullshit. You can cut the same tatami mats at least as well with European longswords or sabres or really any kind of sword that is used for cutting.
5
+FeelTheLack Because the society around them suggested it to them. You can make people do the stupidest things - that's the disadvantage of having a flexible mind. We can do algebra, but we can also convince ourselves to cut off pieces of baby penises or sacrifice goats to the desert god. However for the ultimate cause of this behavior, I think it began as a showcase of strength and health: "look I'm so strong and healthy, I can afford to take ant stings!" This kind of thing is common in males. Many male birds have awkward feathers.
4
+Kim Cornell You unbelievable, ungrateful savage. If you don't like our great Western Civilization you can go live with these fools and let insects sting you to feel better about yourself. You are a parasite, profiting from all our culture has given you while spitting on it, fighting it. Go fuck off and leave your comfortable home and computer behind.
4
Yeah, because this one was in the water...
4
Perhaps Christianity is slighty better than the headhunting tradition, but that's a very low bar.
4
+shecheyer Speak for yourself fool. All we have to do is hide morons like you.
3
"The Lord" has the capacity to create bottomless hatred even in the softest heart. To be slightly better than a tradition of headhunting is a very low bar.
3
How do I know that YOU are not a cuttlefish?!
2
+letzsee9 The books are the main thing, the TV series is only a shadow of them. Damn TV plebs.
2
@Stanley Liu The Boxers were not afraid. That didn't save them from the bullets.
2
Then how come religion countries tend to be wartorn shitholes while irreligious countries tend to be prosperous democracies?
2
Aidan Sumner The machete gives the impression of a down-to-earth fighter, but yeah, this is bullshiido.
2
That's what jealousy is. It's always about you missing out on some finite resource. Be it the attention of parents, food or mating opportunities.
2
A bullfrog as big as an elephant would be very slow. However an elephant the size of an elephant, that's scary. Can chase you down and beat you up any which way it likes.
2
From that picture you are definitely a "millenial".
2
Everyone complaining about internet challenges of today should look at this shit. We've come far.

Imagine that tortoise showing up at his house in ten years. XD

+LakeBodomsReaper Venom is poison.
1
LakeBodomsReaper Why do you think I wrote "venom is poison"? Poison is the more general term. A venomous animal possesses poison, which it injects into other animals, while a poisonous animal possesses poison in general. If you would inject poison from a passively poisonous animal into your bloodstream it would still be damaging, while the poison of a venomous animal, ingested, might not. Further there is a smooth gradient from poisonous (passive users of toxins) to venomous (active users of toxins) animals. From poisonous flesh, to skin, to saliva or spikes to finally fangs or stings.

+perliva Says the unbelievable fool on his computer. You are truly not worthy of our great technology.
1
perliva Why don't you stop distracting, you unbearable parasite? "Pussies" are the people, who built EVERYTHING you have. Your house, your heater, your chair, your computer, the internet. Not to speak of medicine and agriculture.
1
perliva You apparently think watches are superfluous while writing on a fucking computer. What unworldly idiocy.
1
perliva Sigh... Why should they not?
1
Ash bro Why shouldn't it be? He doesn't have to worry about bills or hunger and he can afford to be an unpaid researcher.

Most of what you saw in this video was no practical martial arts at all, but elaborate dancing.
1
That's wrong. Martial arts were no more advanced in Asia than anywhere else. Asian theatre, orientalism and romanticism have created that myth.
1
It's not a real sword. It's some flimsy feng shui paddle.
1
Did you know that pythons also make great shawls? You should try it.
1
Well people have decided that lions are cute and vultures are not. So we now get to protect every single sub species of big cats while losing thousands of unique and important animals.
1
+DJ-Hotwings So real men are foolish and prone to peer pressure. I hope I'm not a "real" man then.
1
+superdahoho I guess someone started to brag about taking ant stings and then more and more people took it up until it became a rogue meme infecting the tribe through generations.
1
Bunch of nonsense. Plenty of people were poorer and didn't become pirates.
1
The one time you lose to a calf gets recorded and put on youtube... : 3
1
CreepyWilly What a gross misrepresentation of the video. It was clearly implied that the katana is exceptional among swords in general.
1
M Spencer The reason why you consider Asian arms and armour superior to European ones is the traditionalism and nostalgia in parts of Asia as opposed to the progressivism in Europe. With the Orientalism in the 20th century, Europeans and Americans began to buy into, for example, Japanese folk theatre, which glorified the Samurai.
1
M Spencer Alchemy is a pseudo-science that doesn't work and so is acupuncture. Anesthetics were used by the earliest cultures all across the world. Astronomy was widely practiced long before the Middle Ages. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_astronomy#Prehistoric_Europe Early blast furnaces were not much better than bloomeries and the improvement of ovens and smithing technology took place all over Europe, Africa and Asia. The Chinese were never able to mass produce books. ... All technology and knowledge took a long road. It wasn't just cooked up in one place at one time.
1
***** What?! And I thought European people wore pieces of fur and ate their own shit! : 3
1
M Spencer Last time I checked, Europe was still the largest exporter and marketplace in the world. It's also the place, where the language you are speaking stems from.
1
M Spencer >>the whole Europe is relying in Chinese products<< The whole of China is relying on Europe to buy their stuff. You see how that makes no sense? >>And last time I checked Europe is the one that suffers from terrorists attacks and not China.<< No, it doesn't. Terrorism is mostly a problem in Africa and the Middle East. Your fundamental lack of knowledge shows again and again. >>And English is widely spoken bro<< That's the point, you moron. XD You can't do anything but repeating yourself over and over again, trying to provoke me while failing in the attempt to appear knowledgeable. In future you might want to pay attention in school. Then you need not rely on lies and insults.
1
M Spencer I'm clearly wasting my time on you. I'm explaining and arguing, while you are just repeating yourself like a broken record and insulting me like a child on the schoolyard. : / If you like China so much, why are you not writing in their great system? Why use letters and the inferior English language? ...Oh right, because modern culture is European culture. You can't avoid it.
1
Vaughn The Rice Farmer Oh I was just being grumpy on the internet, but I'm glad to hear that! : D
