  1. Parents having another child and you being neglected are the same thing. You're losing out on resources. A chick rejecting you and a chick going with your mate are the same thing.

  2. You are 100% wrong. Jealousy is probably the biggest motivator in cats. Cats have never been more mad at me than when I played with other cats. Stepped on their tail? Don't care. Sat on them by accident? Don't care. Got the food late? Don't care. But woe you if they catch you with another cat. My grandma was once bitten by a jealous cat and almost died through the infection.

  5. You do pretty much anything to a cat and they won't mind, but if you give attention to another cat, even a good natured cat might attack you.
