@ekatasatya2995 Lol, ok. So if you find out that you've unintentionally hurt people and are generally considered an asshole, you should just keep it like that to "stay to to yourself"? If you've invested into the wrong stocks and are rapidly losing money, you should just invest more into them, to "stay true"?

That's an extremely stupid thing to say. People are for more similar in how much they pity themselves than in how much they are suffering. If that's indeed written by an emperor it's particularly idiotic.

That's an incredibly stupid thing to say. If anything the opposite is true - people's self pity is surely far more similar than their levels of suffering. Also I can't find any source for that quote either, so he might not even have written that.
