  6.  @Yassty  No. Drugs should simply be legal. Being "equitable" is just being racially discriminatory. To see the racist origins of many drug prohibitions is useful to understand why specific substances got prohibited historically, but is not important now. Btw this pattern is much older than the 1970. People have always considered their drugs good and useful and the ones of other cultures damaging. Drugs like marijuana and heroin got a bad reputation from being associated with foreigners long before 1970.
