  6. Der Aero Because dolphins are nowhere near as "smart" as humans by any sane definition of "smart". And there is plenty of ways to test this whether an animal has hands or not. Further intelligence and the means to use it must perforce evolve together. Don't expect any sophisticated amoebae.
