You say that people should do X, you completely ignore that there is different parties disagreeing with others and threating terrible harm. What good is it to a raoe victim when you say "the rapists shouldn't rape", but refuse to intervene and help?

Still I agree that they had justification not to be directly involved in the state out of the NT, while the justification to keep your head down is probably worse in Islam (I'm not intimately familiar with the Hadith).

  15. Germany already has more than enough assets to reconquer Ukraine. They simply don't want to. No amount of weaponry does anything if you're unwilling to ever use it. They take the money from taxpayers so that a tank can rust somewhere.

  19. There's a German fairytale called "Tischlein Deck Dich" about this phenomemally idiotic brainfart. If don't have sufficient martial prowess to get your way NOTHING else matters. Literally doesn't matter one bit what else you decide or try, because others can make it naught. You have removed yourself from any practical moral discussion. Now in this particular case military spending is a waste imo, but in principle you always need to make sure that you can defend yourself first and foremost. Schools are worth absolutely nothing if your enemies are taking them and using them to rape kids in.

  21. NATO could throw them out of Ukraine any time they wanted. They don't need more troops or vehicles. Russia threatens with nukes, more tanks don't change anything about that.
