  1.  @Bitchslapper316  That's complete bullshit. Humans didn't get to the "top of the foodchain" running after cheetahs. If you mean persistance hunting, that's following an entire herd of animals, not a single one, and it's not clear how important it was.

  2. Porcupines still seem way easier prey than what they hunt otherwise. They can kill antilopes, baboons, humans, wart hogs, chimpanzees and even gorillas, wilderbeest and zebras.

  3.  @Bitchslapper316  It doesn't take hours to cool down, lol. Also by going into the water you can both cool down and make yourself even harder to track. Unless you have put a radar emitter on the cheetah, I don't think anyone can track it.

  7.  @Craig_Murray  Not the best, e. g. horses typically beat humans over long distances even while carrying another human. And I would also bet on raindeer, zebras and wolves if it's not too hot. And camels.
