  4. I agree for the most part, but once there is AGI, there will certainly be an explosion, unless the AGI requires our entire computational resources just to function as well as a single human.

  5. No, the second sentence doesn't make sense. AGI increases the problem, because it spreads even faster than the civilizations that built it would spread without it. As Nick Bostrom points out, explosive spread is an instrumental goal of pretty much every agent conceivable.

  7.  @greedgreed4411  It's not so much the "living standards" as the brutal and complete opression and that is what would happen to the entire world if the North Korean government became undefeatable. My country has been occupied by the USA for over a century and it has rather profited from that.
