  2. what about DEFI lending like AAVE that is 24/7 fully auditable, all code transparent, all funds transparent, all loans fully backed by collateral? Yes you've criticised proof of stake networks and stablecoins being controlled, but assuming someone likes living in the system, they'll safely get interest with them, right? also, even for someone who is aware of the risks of OFAC-controlled chains and CBDCs. Such a person might still have reason want to have some public-facing clean money on ethereum or other proof of stake networks as well as some non-KYC real money that's not OFAC controlled.
