  1. please can you do an update on the ordinal situation? I don't find the argument of "bitcoin is open and permissionless, people should be able to use it for whatever they want" argument persuasive since as far as I have been told ordinals have only been possible since the taproot update. And so if they were introduced with an update they're no more critical and necessary to bitcoin than other update decisions that the community makes that it deems to be in the best interests of bitcoin as a global currency. Ordinals clearly hinder bitcoin being a good global currency by clogging up the network and making fees more expensive for the sake of frivolous, useless nft speculation.
