  1. the NRx movement is much more important to the new right than the atheist movement because what makes the new right different is the disillusionment with liberalism which allows for populism (which is what trumpism is) because without that disillusionment , the republicans remain committed to liberal, libertarian principles of free markets, capitalism, universalism which made the republicans just the pro corporate big business party e.g. mitt romney types.
