  1. Most of the first 35 or so minutes of this conversation is very weird and I think (and hope) out of touch. The weird computer-science studying basement dwellers that the sexual stuff in this convo applies to need to grow up and sort themselves out.

  2. You aren't going to tell a loose acquaintance that you believe that exclusive same-sex sexual attraction is an illness of the mind unless you're confident that they're of the same opinion.

  3.  @recongraves  hardly anyone knows that I'm right wing. The only people I know that match what is being described when I was in uni 5 years ago were part of the computerscience/video games club or anime club. Not merely the people who like videogames and anime but the people so awkward and mal-adjusted and autistic that it's their main hobby and means of socialising. maybe that minority is growing but it's still a small minority.
