  1. no, to lack this much self-awareness makes it very likely that he is MESSED UP in other ways. You just don't behave like this if you are normal and emotionally healthy. You're right that he might able to act out a script well like a salesman or a gig performer but as soon as he tries to connect with someone people are going to detect that he is very off and alien.

You're right that he might able to act out a script well like a salesman or a gig performer but as soon as he tries to connect with someone people are going to detect that he is very off and alien. It's like when you're riding on a bus or on a subway and a crazy person sits right next to you and starts trying to engage you in conversation and keeps up an entire conversation despite you barely saying anything.

If he is aware of how offputting his behaviour is but does it anyway then you're right he's broken in some other. Prbably broken in several ways.
