@nyanbrox5418 that’s not true, actually. There were some wealthy sources promoting it, but most who understood international trade and the benefits of a broad labour market didn’t vote for it and didn’t want it. The majority actually came from the vapid and ignorant racists among our population. That’s why, despite Brexit delivering all the crud they were told it would, the only topic we hear about ad nauseam is immigration.

This is because the population keep voting for governments that want to enrich themselves and their friends, whilst bringing austerity for the rest of us. No public spending, despite an increasing tax burden and rampant cronyism. The only thing that fixes it is socialism tbh. Without that, you’d better hope you can earn enough with low tax for private security.
