In the UK there are calls to have a wartime type coalition government with a statesman in charge, while the crisis continues. Men like Gordon Brown, (who has greatly impressed many on the virus crisis) or Tony Blair. The same applies to most countries.
We do not need inexperienced party politically focused chancers in charge in times like this - as are Boris Johnson, Trump, etc. In WW2 the British Labour Party insisted Winston Churchill, in the opposition party, be prime minister, as he was the right man for the single task in hand - defeating the Germans. When the Germans were defeated he was voted out, not being PM at war's end in August 1945. Churchill had done his job. All gave thanks. The right man at the right time. History also tells us that.
We have no alternative, as we cannot go on with this flapping and delaying. Johnson told us, "be prepared to lose loved ones" with 270,000 predicted to die. We need an all party governments with experienced statesmen in charge. Those with that experience and wisdom are now statesmen, who are generally above party politics. really been rammed, expect in a few more responsible countries.
The gravity of the situation has not been fully rammed home to people.
