  2. ***** Liverpool still has not recovered from what Thatcher did - not fully opposed by Kinnock. The Tories are on still on their hate campaign against the city still to this day. The Tories left Liverpool off HS2, when a HS2 line will be only 16 miles away. Neighbours Manchester are having a 7.5 mile tunnel bored into the city to accommodate HS2. The economies and populations of both cities are about equal. Kinnock will not visit the city of Liverpool. The only real opposition to Thatcher was Liverpool.

  3. Moshiri is dealing with Liverpool city mayor, Joe Anderson, who has has been interviewed under caution regarding financial irregularities. They want to build a stadium on a World Heritage Site. A site that has no history of football. Liverpool now has a metro-mayor, Steve Rotheram. He needs to intervene to ensure Liverpool is not stripped of its World Heritage status. If the city is stripped it will become an international laughing stock.

  4. Why go to Italy? Did they know about the new Merseyrail 777 Class battery hybrids at Liverpool? They can run on 3rd rail, overhead wires and battery on unelectrified track. The batteries are charge while on electrified track. Oh Liverpool is north of Watford, so I see why.

  8.  @DanielSallery  Many powerful objectors. I think it will be approved as it will be a buffer between the sewage works and the rest. The sewage works was given the go ahead under Buffoon Fat Joe. It could have gone in many other places, rather than a World Heritage Site. The man is a philistine.
