  1. Why go to Italy? Did they know about the new Merseyrail 777 Class battery hybrids at Liverpool? They can run on 3rd rail, overhead wires and battery on unelectrified track. The batteries are charge while on electrified track. Oh Liverpool is north of Watford, so I see why.
