  1. So, in a temperate climate, like the UK, heat pumps are not likely to be efficient in existing houses. A gas combi is a white box on the wall or in a cupboard. It does heating and hot water. Brilliant. No tanks. Nothing. Try getting a heat pump in an apartment, then you need a hot water cylinder as well. 20% of natural gas can be hydrogen without a burner change. This obviously reduces emissions. Changing the natural gas grid to hydrogen is feasible. It is also there so use it.
