  2. Singapore adopted a level of land taxation, as did Hong Kong and Taiwan. Land values are created by the economic activity of the surrounding community. All taxing land does is reclaim that commonly created wealth to pay for common services, while leaving privately earned money in private hands. Africa needs to adopt land taxation ASAP.
