  1. The huge Qattara Depression in Egypt is below sea level. A forest could be planted there with sea water from the Mediterranean desalinated using solar panels, then dropping by gravity to the irrigation systems of the forests saving on pumping costs. The forests will change the climate producing more rainfall.
