Hassan, what was wrong with France, the country you were in? France is no less prosperous than the UK, and no less liberal and free. So, why did you risk you life in a small rubber boat crossing the busiest sea lane in the world, liable to be run over by a large ship, to go to a country no different to the one you were in?

@gaynorkashmir7087 Hassan looks intelligent enough to learn French, after all he mastered English. Risk your life in a rubber boat because a language is easier? I don't get it.

@Lakeys You never got my point. He was in a country very similar to the UK. Why risk his life to come here, to gain nothing, in aspects of asylum.
4
Hannah That is totally irrelevant to the point I made.
2
@magdalenaportmann2431 France is very similar to the UK. If Hassan can learn English well, he can also learn French well. Why did this man greatly risk his life in a small rubber boat, to get to country that offered no more than the country he was in?

Why did this man greatly risk his life in a small rubber boat, to get to country that offered no more than the country he was in? None of it makes sense. No one sane does that. He must answer why.
2
@kevinmcsparron6038 The idiot went across the busiest sea lane in the world in an overcrowded rubber boat, risking his own life. What for? To get to a country that offered no more than the country he was in. No one half sane would make that crossing for no gain. The coast guard estimate that a number of these small boats were run over by large ships. Many of the ships would not even know they hit a small boat.
2
@Westwoodii He was seeking asylum. That is refuge from the situation in his own country. He was in a country that offered that. He has achieved his aims. He is safe. So why did this man greatly risk his own life to get to another country offering no more than the country was in? It is very simple to understand.
2
@kevinmcsparron6038 You have lost the argument resorting to ad hom attacks.
2
@Lakeys Please read and get my point, which was clear. Instead of typing babble.
1
@Lakeys You are very confused, unable to grasp a simple point.
1
@magdalenaportmann2431 Until he explains why, he is insane.
1
@kevinmcsparron6038 Logical and clear thinking is not your strong point.

@user-kh7th6nx6o Sailing over the Channel in a rubber boat with a small outboard engine that can fail at any time, amongst large vessels in the busiest sea lane in the world is risking your life.
1
@ianstreet5724 Intelligent people do not unnecessarily put their own lives (and the lives of others like accompanying children) as risk, for no reason whatsoever.
1
@magdalenaportmann2431 He did have options, and a very good powerful one as well. He could have stayed in France which offered the same as the UK.
1
@magdalenaportmann2431 I know the answer. The answer. It is stay in France, which offers the same as the UK, not putting your life at risk at all.
1
@UCIXPzDEr_2BNiWlOurH7_1g You never addressed the point. Intelligent people do not unnecessarily put their own lives (and the lives of others like accompanying children) as risk, for no reason whatsoever.
1
@user-kh7th6nx6o Stop babbling nonsense and get to the point. He had no need to go to the UK. No need whatsoever.
1
@magdalenaportmann2431 Yes, why did he do that, when there was no need to.
1
@magdalenaportmann2431 His choice was risk his life sailing to the UK, so reason whatsoever. In France his life was not threatened at all. France offers the same as the UK.
1
@user-kh7th6nx6o Ad hom attacks, means you lost it,. You have no point. You are badly attempting to justify an illegal economic migrant. His life was not under threat in France, also the country offers the same as the UK.
1
@John-cu7dv Ad Hom attack, mean you lost it. Having intelligence and developed logic, I can't stand the Daily Mail.

@user-kh7th6nx6o My original point at the top of the thread has not been answered.
1
@user-kh7th6nx6o I am the one asking the question.
1
@user-kh7th6nx6o The question was not answered. It is in the first post.
1
@user-kh7th6nx6o It was a very high risk in the busiest sea channel in the world. Those two questions have not been answered.
